Need help with Rock Identifier? We usually reply within 1-2 business days.
Rock Identifier matches your photo against a curated mineral database rather than generating an answer freehand, but no identification is ever 100% certain. For a better match, retake the photo in good lighting, fill the frame with the specimen, and avoid glare. If a result still looks wrong, email us the photo and we'll take a look.
Open the app, go to Settings → Restore Purchases. This restores any active subscription tied to your Apple ID on this device. If it doesn't restore correctly, contact us with the email address used for your Apple ID purchase.
Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple. On your iPhone, go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Rock Identifier, and cancel or change your plan there. We can't cancel it on our side.
Go to Settings inside the app and use the delete-my-data option, or email us at the address above and we'll delete your scans, collection, and account data.
No. If you tap the location button on a scan, we only store the coarse place name you see and can edit — never precise coordinates.
For anything else, or if a bug is blocking you, email support@airockidentifier.app with your device model and iOS version if possible — it helps us fix it faster.
